These are our favorite PS5 games, which we’ve played and ranked on our own. Updated for October 2022 to reflect new releases and make sure review scores are correct. Notably, some Studio’s most anticipated game of the year is not the sole addition to the PlayStation library this month. Ragnarok is only one of several new releases in November, which is relatively well-stocked. Which one among the numerous should you get is the question.
If you haven’t heard, God of War Ragnarok’s global release date of November 9 is getting closer and closer by the hour. And if we thought the great majority of PlayStation users wouldn’t be scheduling at least a few days off to enjoy its most recent bloody adventure, we’d be lying.
1. Evil West PS5
A vampire game without any connection to Vampyr or Vampire: The Masquerade hasn’t been released in a long time. The good news is that Evil West is almost ready to fill that exact need. And will undoubtedly have all the same blood and toothy smiles that made the cult genre what it is in the first place.
A forthcoming third-person shooter called Evil West will transport players to the American frontier, which has finally given in to the relentless assaults carried out by the demonic horrors that overrun its borders. You will get to crack a few knuckles as Jesse Rentier, one of the last lone vampire hunters, as you return what is rightfully yours. Expect massive battles with powerful weaponry. The frontier needs your help.
2. The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me
The Devil in Me will choose the fourth and final story for The Dark Pictures Anthology. A Supermassive Games project to wrap out its first season. And considering that the company has already registered trademarks for many different games that will last until 2028 and beyond, this is only the beginning. The Devil in Me, a narrative-driven episodic adventure that will once again put players in charge of maintaining a network of innocent survivors alive and healthy across a series of ominous trials and tribulations, is the anthology’s main focus right now.
Naturally, you’ll probably know what to anticipate from The Devil in Me if you’ve previously struggled through Man of Medan and House of Ashes. To put it briefly, there will be a ton of conversation options. QTEs, and several conclusions tailored to your decisions during the game. Who will endure the narrative that you and you alone curate?
The Devil in Me game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 18, 2022.
3. Goat Simulator PS5 Game
If you haven’t heard, God of War Ragnarök’s global release date of November 9 is getting closer and closer by the hour. And if we thought the great majority of PlayStation users wouldn’t be scheduling at least a few days off to enjoy its most recent bloody adventure, we’d be lying.
It should be the most anticipated game of the year from Santa Monica Studio is by no means the only one to have entered the PlayStation library this month. Ragnarök is only one of several new releases in November, which is relatively well-stocked. Which one among the numerous should you get is the question.
4. God of War Ragnarök
God of War Ragnarök is the first-party game that several gamers have put on their list of things to pre-order. It’s here and already looking like one of the top candidates for 2022. But will it ultimately win Game of the Year? That is a different question and one that we would also like to have an answer to. But for the time being, its pre-release material has us too excited for what will finally happen after its November 9 release.
Google of War Ragnarök is the direct sequel to 2018’s best-selling God of War chapter. Which left a few problems unresolved:
- The conflict with Freya, a friend-turned-enemy.
- The tension between Kratos and Thor after Baldur’s death.
- The impending arrival of Ragnarök is an occasion that foretells the gods’ demise.
Ragnarök appears to be the curtain-raiser for these happenings. And if it doesn’t, is anyone up for God of War 3?
On November 9, 2022, God of War Ragnarok will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
5. Sonic Frontiers
Returning with a brand-new open-world setting, Sonic is returned. Sonic Frontiers will shed its linear style for the first time and bring all the traditional components to a brand-new platform. Where players can explore the vast new areas of Starfall Islands, unlock potent combinations. And take on a well-planned plot centered around the Chaos Emeralds.
Once more, Sonic Team will pack all of its trademark playgrounds for parkour. And high-intensity fighting into a cramped environment where players may explore and ravage to their hearts’ delight. Sonic has turned a new page, and let’s hope it will serve as the cornerstone on which its creator will base future installments.
This November 8, 2022, Sonic Frontiers will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
