The team is in Bhopal for a Boot Camp to prepare for the mega final. The team practices 13 to 14 hours daily to give the best teams a hard time at the ESPL Season 2 grand finals.

Ritik Rawat, the leader of Team Dragon Esports, dropped out of school after 12th grade to pursue a career in gaming. His journey started with PUBG in 2018. Rawat formed Dragon Esports with Sanket Salam, Krishna Sharma, and Ashish Singh. The 22-year-old also played in the qualifiers for the 2019 PMCO Open. He also joined NADE gaming in 2020. The Dehradun gamer focuses on the LAN event in Delhi that is coming up soon.

ESPL director Vishwalok Nath said this about the Open Qualifiers’ success and response: “We’ve seen many tournaments that only let top teams in by invitation. And there aren’t many chances for underdog teams; on bigger platforms.” So, to give each team an equal chance. We held open qualifiers for underdog teams from all over the country. To provide them with a bigger stage on which to perform. The Underdog phase was the only one of its kind, allowing young gamers to show off their skills at an event on the national stage. Both of the winning teams did a lot of things right to win. Now, these teams can see how well their skills and plans work against the best teams in BGMI Esports. Maybe one of these two teams will become the new BGMI hero.”
