Global Esports won the BGMI Masters Series 2022 Grand finals, which took place over five days of intense games. In the grand finals, the glory and title of champions were up for grabs between 16 of the best Indian teams. It was the first time in Quite a while that showed a live stream of an esports event on national TV. 

Global Esports won the finals with 201 points, and Team Godlike came in second with 197 points. In the 20 games they played, Global Esports was the only team to get more than 200 points. With 192 points, Orangutan was the second-place team.

At the BGMI Masters Series 2022 Grand Finals, the teams shared a considerable prize pool of 75,00,000 INR. The prize money went to Global Esports, which got 25,00,000 INR. The Most Valuable Player award went to Jonathan from Team Godlike, while Soul Hector got the most points in the grand finals.

Global Esports is the first team in history to win an esports tournament shown live on okbet Philippines. It was a 4-week event where the best BGMI teams in India competed for a massive prize pool of 1,500,00,000 INR. The teams will play again in the BGMI Showdown on July 21. The PMWI Afterparty 2022 will directly invite the team that wins the BGMI Showdown.

Global Esports won a prize of 250,000 INR, while the runner-up, GodLike, and the third-place team, Orangutan, each got 120,000 INR. Jonathan, the star player for GodLike Esports and one of India’s best players, won the coveted MVP title for a single player.

The BGMS tournament was a big deal for esports in India. It was the first time an esports tournament was shown on TV to the general public, just like regular sports. It showed that esports is also an excellent way to have fun and play sports.
